LiveNetTV has shut down. Android TV boxes, Google TV devices and smart TVs can still show hundreds of free live channels from apps in the Google Play Store.
Everything comes from the Google Play Store
Go to Settings › Apps, choose LiveNetTV and select Uninstall. It cannot play channels any more.
On Google TV devices, open the Live tab. In supported countries, Google TV Freeplay adds free live channels there with no extra app.
Open the Google Play Store on the TV, search for Pluto TV and Plex, and install both. Pluto TV needs no account; Plex needs a free one.
Install The Roku Channel, Tubi and Sling Freestream for hundreds more free live channels.
UK: BBC iPlayer (TV Licence needed), ITVX and Channel 4. Germany: ARD Mediathek and ZDF. France: france.tv. Italy: RaiPlay. Spain: RTVE Play.
If you allowed a file manager or Downloader to install APKs only for LiveNetTV, switch that permission off under Settings › Apps › Security & restrictions (the menu name varies by device).
Free live TV on Android TV & Google TV
No. It shut down in 2026 and no version plays channels on Android TV, Google TV or any other device.
Free, ad-supported live channels built into the Live tab of Google TV devices in supported countries. There is nothing extra to install.
Pluto TV, for its channel guide. No legal app offers channels from every country in one list for free, so pair it with your national broadcaster apps.
