How to install Channel 4 on a Firestick
- Select Find › Search and type Channel 4.
- Choose the official Channel 4 app and select Get.
- Open it and sign in with your Channel 4 email and password. QR-code sign-in is not offered on Fire TV, so enter the details with the remote or the Fire TV app on your phone.
"Channel 4 is no longer available on this device"
Channel 4 shows this message when a device is no longer supported. It usually affects old Fire TV models. Check for a system update; if the message remains, the device needs replacing to keep using the app.
Channel 4 not working on Firestick? Fix it in this order
- Restart properly. Unplug the Firestick from power for at least a minute, then plug it back in. A quick restart from the menu does not clear everything.
- Clear the app's cache. Go to Settings › Applications › Manage Installed Applications › Channel 4, choose Force Stop, then Clear Cache.
- Clear data if it still fails. In the same menu choose Clear Data. You will need to sign in again.
- Update the app and the Firestick. Check the app in the Appstore for an update, then Settings › My Fire TV › About › Check for Updates.
- Reinstall. Uninstall Channel 4, restart the stick, and install it again from the Amazon Appstore.
