Which Build Do I Need?

Live NetTV comes in three builds, and installing the wrong one is the most common cause of install errors and remotes that will not navigate. Two questions will tell you which to use.

Why the right build matters

Each build is laid out for a different way of controlling the app. The TV builds are made for a remote, with large tiles and focus that moves with the arrow keys. The phone build is made for touch. Install the phone build on a TV and you may find the remote cannot reach some buttons, or the app may not appear on the TV's home screen at all.

The builds are also signed separately. To switch from one to another, uninstall the old build first. Updates within the same build install straight over the top, as explained in our update guide.
