Which Fire TV Do I Have?

Type the model number printed on your stick, or the build code, and see exactly which Fire TV you own, when it came out, whether it runs Fire OS or Vega OS, and if it can install apps from outside the Appstore.

Where to find your Fire TV model number

  • On the device: the model number (such as S3L46N) is printed in small text on the stick or on the bottom of the Cube.
  • On the box or manual: it is listed with the regulatory information.
  • On screen: Settings › My Fire TV › About shows the device name and the software version. If it shows Vega OS, or no Fire OS number, the device is a Vega OS stick.
